Habitat for Humanity of Waldo County is looking for our next partner family.
We are looking for an applicant who needs safe, energy-efficient and affordable housing, has the resources to pay a 0% interest mortgage, real estate taxes and insurance, and is willing to partner with Habitat, which includes “sweat equity” to build your home.
The successful applicant has to meet income guidelines, which
are based on 30% to 80% of the median income for Waldo County and family size. An applicant must show stable income for the past 24 months, have no liens, excessive credit card debt, no bills in collection and no bankruptcy in the last 5 years.

Within 30 days, our Family Selection Committee will let you know if you qualify to go through the longer multi-step application process.
